Husqvarna 610 Special. Thousands spent on this very rapid SuperMoto.

60 bhp at the rear wheel as verified on a dyno. This bike has been clocked at 125 mph by a very surprised Ducati rider!

Electric and Kick start. I have never used the kick starter as it always starts on the button.

All work gone by Steve and Perry at HM Racing. These engine upgrades are what they called the Gold Package and is the highest level of tuning they do for a Husky. They tell me that this bike has shown the most power of all the 610's that they have done.

If you dont know who HM are then they have won 20+ championships and probably the most respected of all the SM bike tuners. Bracken KTM use them as do many others.

So whats so special about this Husqvarna?

New 320mm Floating WAVE disk by Braking

New Brembo P4 Gold caliper. It is the 4 piston 4 pad caliper as fitted to SPS Ducati's. It is mated to a master cylinder from an SPS Ducati and fitted with braided hose - it stops !

Billett fork brace and carbon front mudguard. If you try riding much over 100mph with a MX style or even a cut down SM style mudguard the wind gets under it and makes the front light - hence this carbon guard.

Front forks were stripped and rebuilt by Perry (Perry is Ohlins trained and a 5x UK champion) to firm them up.

Standard Enduro headlights are hopeless and so it has this PowerBronze twin headlight unit - so you can enjoy the empty dark roads. This is especially enjoyable as it spits flames out of the exhaust on the overrun. See the short video at the bottom of the page.

Just had all of the electrics renewed with the latest items (cost over £500) and a new battery fitted

It is extremely quick and yes it wheelies pretty much anywhere. It stops and it handles exceptionally well. You can get the pegs down - which is one hell of a lean angle and then keep leaning until the peg folds back against the frame.
